I could write a book about all the times I've found myself in this little one's shoes:
Eight years old, at one of my first shows with my parents.
As a teenager, packed in a dingy nightclub, when the lights went down before my favorite band's set.
In college, standing in the control booth and glancing up toward the nosebleeds as my boss took the stage and the stadium went nuts.
In the words of a much more concise YouTube commenter, though, I'll only say: "I am so fortunate to know what love like this feels like."
People often ask why I care so much about the music industry – one they remind me is overrun with huge egos, shallow vanity, greed and corruption. Out of all of that though, comes so much love & joy & meaningful connection. What a sweet little reminder.
